Can parents be on the Zoom with their student?

Parents are not required to be in the Zoom sessions, but they are encouraged to be in the room with the student during the sessions so they can be of help, if necessary, with computer or translation issues.  This is an educational program for the students and parents should not be actively participating in the session, but can be there to assist, if required.

What happens if, for any reason, the student cannot attend one of the sessions?

The Water Challenge is one educational learning activity made up of three sessions. It is NOT three separate activities. All three of the Water Challenge sessions are extremely important and any student missing even one of the sessions, will not be able to fully gain from the experience and will also negatively affect their teammates as well. Therefore, while unexpected unfortunate things do happen, we hope that everyone will do everything in their power to attend all three of the Water Challenge working sessions.
