What is the purpose of your presentation?

Your team will be making a PowerPoint file with slides that contain some of the most important information you want to share with the Judges and other people in the audience. However, the PowerPoint by itself is not the presentation. You and your teammates will be talking directly to the audience and telling them other things and more information that is not necessarily on the slides. In a good presentation, you do NOT just read the slide. The audience can do that for themselves. But your job as a presenter is to explain in more detail what the slide is showing. In addition, one of the rules of the IF.G is that every member of a team is responsible for giving the presentation concerning at least one of the slides. This means that you not only have to know what is on the slide, but you should practice giving your portion of the presentation.
